Issue in building the job

I am trying to build a Talend job. I am using Talend 6.0.1

I am using setting as in the screenshot.

When I build job, it doesn't give any error nor produces jar file and the .bat file.

However when I tried using other build type option like WAR. Talend is able to generate a .war file.

What should I do to generate .jar and .bat files?

Do you meen the zip file generated by build operation is not complete?
Can you share it's content?
Are you sure there is no compilation error when running the job from the Studio?

There is no compilation error when running the job from the Studio. My jobs are running successfully.

The build is not able to generate any zip file.

Hi,

Could you please uncheck option” Extract the zip file” when building job as a standalone job to see if it works?

Does this issue also repro on V 6.3?

I have unchecked option” Extract the zip file still, the issue is same, not able to generate the zip file.

I am using Talend 6.0. I have two machines In which I have installed Talend 6.0. One of them which I use for production is able to build job successfully.

Setting in both the system is also same.

Hello,

Please make sure that the java settings must point to the root JDK folder, and not the JRE.

I have reinstalled the talend, the issue is resolved.
