I’m a brand new data engineer at a bank and I have been asked to investigate using Talend 7.2 for an ETL job that is currently being done with Hive and Spark.</P> <P class="_1qeIAgB0cPwnLhDF9XSiJM">I’ve resorted to this subreddit because I’m stumbling at the very first step which is accessing the Hive database. Managed to create a connection to the Hive database under ‘Db connections’ but stumped at what the next step is. Can I look at the tables in the database?
