Hi - I am getting the below error when i try to run my jobs in Talend 6 that I have installed on my machine.
Error: Could not find or load main class

Upon looking at the resolutions for this error from previous posts. I have done the following but it didnt help
1. Installed the latest JDK and JRE (Java 😎
2. Made sure i dont have any spaces in my workspace directory path.

Can you please let me know what might be causing this issue? I am using Max OSX Yosemite.
Additional details:

Version : TOS_MDM-Studio-20150908_1633-V6.0.1
Both the Studio and Server are installed on default port "localhost:8080"
Below are the Server details, Java Version & Preferences on Talend.

Hi,
The error "Could not find or load main class" is usually caused by java environment setting and the blank space in the installation path.

The java settings must point to the root JDK folder, and not the JRE.
Have you checked this KB article about:TalendHelpCenter:Requiring a JDK installation to build jobs starting from version 6.0?

Hi -
I have looked at these options and they all look good. But I am still getting the same error

All these issue are related to Java
1) java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Integer
at java.lang.Class.getDeclaredMethods0(Native Method)
at java.lang.Class.privateGetDeclaredMethods(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Class.privateGetMethodRecursive(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Class.getMethod0(Unknown Source)
Error: A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again
Exception in thread "main"
--> Install Java 8 Update 51
2) The error "Could not find or load main class"
It can be fixed by going to Window > Preferences > Installed JREs, selecting Edit and browsing for the appropriate JRE
