Is it possible in Talend to take the value of a component' checkbox from the context or another runtime variable in some supported way?
For example in the tpop3componet there is a flag for deleting or not the email on the server: is it possible to take this true/false value from a variable or globalmap (like other textual fields) ?
Would be very useful in many cases ( test, production etc. ).
Of course one can duplicate the component and just use "if" link to direct the proper one, but the design becomes quite messy quicky.
thanks

Hi
I agree with you that it will be very useful in many cases, but it is impossible to set the checkbox value at runtime, unless we change filed type from 'CHECK' TO 'TEXT'.
Best regards

Maybe a little icon to click near the checkbox (when CHECK type present) in order to bind the checkbox value to a variable ( true / false ) and "deactivating" the checkbox (gray color) when set would be a very welcomed addition.
I will submit a feature request.
