I try to implement the using of implicit context load from DB but I am getting this error when trying to run the job:

Execution failed : Failed to generate code. [org.eclipse.emf.codegen.jet.JETException: InvocationTargetException]

the job has 2 components : toracle and tlog.

first question - why You use Standard JDBC for connect to AS400? Talend native support AS400, so it could resolve Your problem with query conditions

We are using jdbc because we saw that it better with performance.

Talend tAS400 components use JDBC as well, so not sure - is true or not completely, but it exactly set all JDBS parameters correct (from talend point of view 🙂 )

but most important other - this is context loading ... You have in this Job less than 10 parameters, in most (over loaded by variables) it would be 100 ... in crazy cases 200, if compare all context variables from all Your Job, it could be 1000 (in very theoretical case - little more) ... but even 10000 extremely far from moment where we need talk about performance problems

I recommend You - do not make Job over complicated -change it for load context with native AS400 component
