Component List is empty but is required

Hi All,

Ive created a mysql database connection, but that created connection is not visible from to select from the component list in the tDBClose. Please see the attached.

Any help much appreciated.

Do you have a tDBConnection component in your job? If not, you need to add it.

Hello,

Could you please clarify in which Talend version/edition you are? We are not able to reproduce this issue from our side on talend open studio V 8.0.1.

Have you tried to recreate a new job to see if it works for you?

First, try to click on 'Apply' button on tDBClose component, then select the component.

I have just tried to recreate this and I cannot. Could you delete the tDBClose component and add another one? If that doesn't work, could you try restarting your Studio?

I have had a few attempts at recreating this and every time I get this....

Hi all,

Ive installed same version on windows 11 and it did work for me. Looks like there are some issues with TOS_BD-macosx-cocoa-aarch64 version of the Talend. Any solution for this?

Ive installed jdk-17.0.2 on my mac, would it be causing this issue? please see the attached

Are you using Dark Mode on your Mac? There are a few known issues with that, but I have not seen this one.

JDK 17 is not supported by Talend v8. You have to be really careful which the JDK you are using. Talend uses hundreds of third party Jars which have their own JDK/JRE requirements. We work to a JDK/JRE that is supported by all of the Jars that are used. This is why the Java version supported is so strict.

What's the correct JDK version need to be installed for Talend v8

JDK 11 is supported for v8

The issue has been resolved after installed JDK 11
