Downloading latest file from FTP

Hi,

I have one FTP server where two kinds of files are there. One file is pushed on hourly basis and the second one is on daily basis.

For Example,

First kind:

XYZ_2019-04-01_14-35.csv

XYZ_2019-04-01_15-43.csv

XYZ_2019-04-01_16-51.csv

Second kind:

ABC_2019-04-01_02-40.csv

ABC_2019-04-02_02-40.csv

ABC_2019-04-03_02-40.csv

I want to download latest XYZ file along with ABC file pushed on that day. How can I download these files?? Kindly please help..

Hi,

filenames pattern always the same and exactly as on samples?
do you want scan one particular day like today or yesterday, or you want scan for any numbers of dates in folder?
if any number of days, do you know period or want to fetch it from folder?
is it possible when no ABC_ files for present XYZ?
