Hey,
i'm using Talend Open Studio for Big Data and trying to load some table data from a MySQL database to HDFS with Sqoop. I'm using a tSqoopImport component with my predefined HDFS metadata. Now i want to use a DB Connection schema from my repository where the data shall be fetched. But when i want to choose a connection from the repository there is no connection although they are in the metadata section in the repository (not in the window that appears to choose a conn).
Is it not possible to use a predefined connection and do i have to type it in manually?
Thanks!

I think this is a bug. I encountered it as well. Yes, I think for right now you need to use a builtIn hadoop profile within the Sqoop component. Just to save yourself some typing, reference your profile in the metadata repo and then change it to builtIn.
