SCD - ELT - how to set a start date with a context variable value?

Hi, I'm using the SCD ELT component (for Postgres) and I would like to use a context variable for the start date instead of having by default the current date and time put in.

I know that for the regular SCD ETL component, this is possible, but I didn't see a way to do this for the ELT variant.

I think the only way to do this is to write pure SQL scd in tDBRow.

Hi Pakapi,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I've been writing my own SCD through a series of components including tmap etc. to do so. I find it unfortunate though that this component is missing something so basic of a feature that I do find it in other ETL tools like Datastage. As a result, it makes this entire component of no value for my usecase.
