Hi Talend Folks,

I am facing system hanging problem. when I import 9 Mb excel for metadata. I cannot import large excel file in talend tool. What is the solution for system hanging problem.

I am using 8GB RAM 64bit

I also increased my Talend-Studio-win-x86_64.ini file

-Xms1024m
-Xmx4096m
-XX:MaxPermSize=512m
-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8
-Dosgi.requiredJavaVersion=1.8

What's the error message you are getting? Could you please indicate on which build version you got this issue?

Hi Rajesh,

I had a similiar problem.

How many rows of data have you got in the excel sheet?

If it has got some VB script on the excel you may encounter this or anything other than data.

If you could copy paste the whole content into the new sheet, save it and try using that file.

It should work.
