Hi harryhkwtd,
I'm note sure it's possible to use TNS with talend.
For me, I use "Oracle with Service Name" or "Oracle with SID", then choose oracle version, fill the login, pwd, server, port ...
Are you trying to create a connection ?
I hope this will help you
Nice day

Hi
wcfsmart,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
Here in my current project, the oracle team just gave these parameters to connect only with TNS and connection identifier.
NO i am trying to create a connection, just login to oracle .
Now i am finding it difficult to map the equivalent option in Talend whether i should use connect by : custom or OCI or SID or service name
In my other assignments, i have been provided with user id & pwd parameters to log in and it worked pretty well 100%.
I am still facing the same issue and not resolved.
Thanks for your inputs,
Harryhkwtd
