I have an xml and xsl file and want to get a excel file.
Is it possible to do this?

S here the simplest solution I can think of is
1.do a transformation for mapping field to the style sheet
2.using streams write the file as excel
It would also be nice if you package this as plugin and put it in talend forge. 😃

Why use xslt? You could use Talend components to convert xml to excel.

Why can't you just open the xml file in Excel? The xml just needs the xslt style sheet associated with it.
E.G. <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="spreadstyle.xsl"?>
