Upgrading TOS data integration from v5.3 to v7.3

We are planning to upgrade TOS data integration from v5.3 (installed on-premise) to v7.3 (on-prem). Is there any known issues skipping the v6.x release and upgrading directly to v7.3?

With your On-premises version, you could create a support case on talend support portal. In this way, our colleagues from support team will assistant you through support cycle with priority.

I would suggest going from v5.3 to the last v6.x version, then to v7.3. If only using the import/export functionality within studio.

Hi,

This is an item import/export - Within your v5.3 project to migrate - top bar within Studio.

Export all items (arrow pointing OUT of the folder), then create an empty project on v6.x and Import all items (arrow pointing IN to the folder).

The Alternative is to to a project import, again going from v5.3 -> v6.x -> v7.3. In v6.x, when you start Talend Studio, at the project selection page, select "Import an existing project", enter a project name and then "Select a root directory" and point it to your v5.3 workspace/project.

You could always just try going v5.3 to v7.3 using one of the methods above and see what happens.
