tSendMail SMTP Connection Refused

Hi,

I've got an odd problem using the tSendMail component in a job.

When I run the job from Talend Cloud all is OK and the mail gets sent. However , when running it within Studio, I'm getting a "connection refused" message. Something on my laptop is blocking it, but I cant think what. I've tried disabling the Windows Firewall, and/or adding the java..exe for my version of Java into the firewall rules for all ports/IP addresses.

Anyone else had this issues and advise on what they did to resolve?

Did you try telnet to the sendmail server on port 25 from the client machine in question?

telnet mysendmailserver.com 25

Yup. I can Telnet to the mail server on its port, 587 in my case. Using Cygwin.

So it’s only something running through Java that seems to have the issue.
