Talend Cloud -- Creating a Plan

Hi Folks --

I think I already know the answer based off what I've read, but I wanted to make sure. We are building a new DW and are using the Talend Cloud to schedule the jobs. I've a couple of questions for the community:

1) I have a couple of tasks (see screenshot) that have a dependency, but then once those two jobs are done, the rest can run. It seems that using the Plan feature, the best way to implement this would be to:

Step 1 -- Run Task A

Step 2 -- Run Task B

Step 3 -- Run Task C, D, E, F, xx

With this approach, I assume the system manages resources and only will start jobs when sufficient resources are available?

2) If i just setup the task to run in serial, is there a way to skip over one step if that step fails?

3) I also don't see a way to retry a job in the event of failure. Am i missing something ?

Thanks.
