If you are using the DataMapper you have the enterprise edition. As such, your company have invested in the product. They also need to invest in you. You CANNOT "pick up" the DataMapper by asking a few questions on here. I had to spend days/weeks trying things out (and getting things very wrong) before I managed to get to grips with it. Since it is a product Talend bought and included, the interface and way of thinking is totally different to the rest of Talend. I strongly suggest you ask your company to put you on a DataMapper course. It will be cheaper for them in the long run.
