Talend Job on Remote Engine - no log generated

I have a scheduled Talend job flow that would generate a log file each time it is run on the remote engine via Talend Cloud. I made some changes to the job and added tFlowmeter and tFlowmetercatcher so I can log data volumes to a database.

However after making that change - the job is not creating the default log like it was doing before. I find this rather odd. Is the default behaviour?

When you open the job
Open job view --> stats & logs

what do you see?

The log I was referring to is the job execution log on the remote engine.

It was my mistake. The log exists however the folder was timestamped of when the job started running and not when it finished. The log file however had the right timestamp and contained the records I was looking for.
