migration from Informix to Microsoft SQL server

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Talend and wonder if there is a way to migrate from Informix to SQL server using Talend. so can you guide me with resources about how to do this migration?

Hello

First of all, please try to set up connection to Informix DB via JDBC connection. Such as

JDBC URL : jdbc:informix-sqli://<host>:<port>/<db>:INFORMIXSERVER=<server>
Driver jar: ....\Informix_JDBC_Driver\lib\ifxjdbc.jar
Class Name : com.informix.jdbc.IfxDriver

If this connection is working, you could migrate some of tables from Informix to Microsoft SQL server through tDBInput and tDBOutput components.
