Exception in reading excel file (xlsx)

Hi Team,

We are facing an issue while reading an excel file (xlsx) in Talend 7.3 .

It is telling POIFSFilesystem does not contain a BIFF8 workbook entry .

Please Help us in resolving the issue.

I haven't seen this error, can you provide an example file for testing? Do you have the same issue to read other Excel file?

Is that a regular excel file and not encrypted? I doubt that the file is not in proper format

Hi Shong/Abhishek,

I am currently working on Talend version upgrade. The same file is getting processed in existing 6.5 version and throwing error when we process it in 7.3.

The only difference I see between 6.5 and 7.3 is that later is having provision to read password protected excel feed. I am not setting password for input feed.

I couldnt share the feed as it is a production data.
