tFileOutputDelimited not returning results

The following job includes these components

tDBInput -> tFileOutputDelimited

MS SQL to CSV file

the job runs successfully indicating 295 rows but the csv file comes up blank.

Hi,

Could you please delete the existing file and try to run it again? Also please check the schema of the database output.

Aah you need to define schema at input and output.

Schema contains col names , data type etc...

thanks i was able to generate the output in the csv file. now, in the csv file all of the columns of data are in one cell and the column headers are also in the first cell separated by ;. How can I make sure that the data is in each of the columns?

The field separator value defines the data separator attribute between columns. You can change it to comma instead of semicolon if your target system is looking for "," symbol.
