I ran the new talend subsription version(Talend-Studio-20161216_1026-V6.3.1) - no install version, from Windows 7 and it crashed. What is the reason for that and how can I fix it?
It crashed very soon after I ran it. I select local_project and click finish and it starts loading and at that time computer freezes.
Java:

~$ java -version
java version "1.8.0_121"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_121-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.121-b13, mixed mode)

HI,
just checked Talend-Studio-20161216_1026-V6.3.1 on Windows 7 with local project works on my machine:
C:\Users\dlenzen>java -version
java version "1.8.0_121"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_121-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.121-b13, mixed mode)
C:\Users\dlenzen>echo %JAVA_HOME%
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_121\
Hm, not really sure what it is but the JVM 1.8.0_121 seems to be not the problem. Can you check Java_Home and if this is also ok you might need to file a support ticket as it seems to be something special (strange). Just wanted to let you know that I upgraded to Java 1.8.0_121 and that I not had any issues to run the studio. I know this does not directly help but at least it seems to be not a general problem and might then need some more detailed investigation with our support team.
