string to Time format in 12 hour format

I need to convert time which is originally in string to Talend time format-
For eg: "5:30 pm" to its appropriate time format.
Please help.
I tried using formatDate, parseDate functions and it resulted in no success.

you have only time with you ?no date,actually i tried with given time by you, it is giving me some other date but in date format only
