Extract data from twitter

Hi All,

I'm trying to extract twitter data with API call..how do i do that am new to this..any help will be apreciated.

I have the consumer key and token.

Example:

Resource URL

https://api.twitter.com/1.1/statuses/user_timeline.json

How do i get response for this web service in talend.

Have you checked twitter components at Exchange?

thanks for your reply. I tried imporing tTwitter input component but it didn't work as am using talend version 5.6

will tTwitter component support 5.6 version??

My requirement is this

Need to authenticate to twitter using (access key and secret key) and get the response from below end point

https://api.twitter.com/1.1/statuses/user_timeline.json

Could you please help me how i achieve this am new to talend and am not a java deveoper.

tTwitterInput is a custom component written by talend community user and shared on talend exchange portal.

We don't have the source code of these custom components. It is the ownership of the person who built it.

I found these components to be easier to use and there is also small tutorials on how to use them at the bottom of the page as well.
