tSalesforceGetServerTimestamp - Null Pointer Exception

Hello Everyone,

while compiling the component tSalesforceGetServerTimestamp in the 6.3.1. version of Talend OS for DI I get the following error (see the picture attached).

The same thing compiled under 6.2.1. brings the right result (namely the date from the Salesforce server).

Any advice on that? Thanks in advance?

Does the component in error rely on a tSalesforceConnection component for its connection details? I see you have some disabled components around your Salesforce component. Did the connection component inadvertently get disabled as well?

Hello cterenzi,

no, it is a standalone job consisting of two components. All the connection data are implemented into the tSalesforceGetServerTimestamp component.

Is that to say, the solution is I should download the 6.3.2. or 6.4.1. version? No patch for 6.3.1 for non-entreprise users?

Could you please try to use V 6.4.1 to see if this issue still repro?

You can download this free open source tool from talend official website:http://www.talend.com/download/talend-open-studio/#t4

There is no patch for talend open source.
