Bulk Query mode not working in tSalesforce Input

Our existing jobs are using the Query mode in tSalesforceInput, but in recent times one of our jobs fails almost every day. This job handles a huge amount of data to be processed and below is one of the error message,

"org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxParsingException: Unexpected close tag </records>; expected </sf:Detail_Line_Sequence_Number__c>."

We tried to change the query type to "Bulk Query" mode in the tSalesforceInput component, but the job is failing due to the below error message.

“CSVReader$CSVParseException: Exceeded number of records : 10002. Number of records should be less than or equal to 10001”

We are using the Talend 5.3 version, Is there any patch to fix this issue?

This issue was fixed in 6.2.2, 6.3.1

I could able to login into the bug tracker.

Also, I need some additional info on the Talend versions like what are all the new features and advantages over our current version 5.3. Our Client wants to upgrade the Talend to get this issue resolved. I would like to know your thoughts on which version we can migrate to and what are benefits of it.
