Hello All..

I want to know how to resume a failed job automatically .

I have designed a job which waits for a file creation after getting file it triggers another job which unzip that file after unzipping file it triggers next job which process the data of that file and stores it in database.

Now how to resume if job fails at any stage one option is to use checkpoints and after that resume job From TAC(If job gets fail) but i want to do it without TAC. If any job gets failed it should resume automatically with out any intervention in TAC.

Please help me as soon as possible.

I am using 6.5 enterprise edition.

@shalla, I don't think, you can resume job automatically.

How job will understand that, cause of failure is corrected?

you can run the job automatically based on arrival of file, and i think, you are doing that only.

but failure need to analyzed and corrected there, then only you can resume the job else job will fail for the same error again and again.
