Launch a vb script from Talend TAC

Hi ,

I have o job that launches a "*.vbs" script, the job is working correctly when launching from Studio but not working from Talend TAC.

The studio , the TAC and the job server are on the same machine.

The "vbs" script is just opening an excel workbook and apply a marco to it.

What's the error message you are experiencing when launching from Talend TAC?

Hi Sabrina,

There is no error, is it just hanging on the component tjava. In the tjava there is "Runtime.getRuntime().exec("cmd /c start \\LanceMacro.vbs")" command.

The "*.vbs" is is opening an excel file and applying calculations.

Did the TAC continue to show that the job is "Generating"?

How did you generate your job to Talend Administration Center? Using commandline?
