Hello
I have a issue a with talend V5.6RC and a connexion to a MySQL database:
Echec de la connexion Vous devez modifier les paramètres de la base de données.
java.lang.RuntimeException: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.CommunicationsException: Communications link failure

The last packet sent successfully to the server was 0 milliseconds ago. The driver has not received any packets from the server.

I have checked many subjet like firewall or timeout parameter without success
Any good ideas will be welcome.

I had the same problem working with talend DI versions 5.3 to 5.6 (constantly updated), on a corporative proxy enabled network and a WIN7 PC.

Finally worked out by disabling the proxy (I did it from the windows registry. -a little extreme, I know, but i was desperate :lol before execute TOS-DI.
Good luck.
PD: Edited: It seems TOS-DI is unable to work properly on a proxy enabled network. Hoping get solved soon on further releases.
