topic GUI in Talend Studio

A question, I am struggling with the process of tidying the packages. Any hints on how to manipulate the diagrams. For example how to set the size of a subjob box, sometimes it is the size I want but sometimes I am trying to make it smaller and won't seem to budge. Also alignment, any tricks?

for the subjob highlights (light blue box behind components) they will auto size, and there is no good way to control them or to line them up. It bothers me too, but you can turn them off (OLD SCHOOL STYLE!) by clicking the light-blue-box icon (tooltip: Toggle Subjobs)
for alignment-- I follow some loose rules:
your job should read like a book. top to bottom left to right.
"row" type connectors always go left to right in a straight line.
"onOK" connectors always go top to bottom in a straight line. NEVER diagonal.
you can vertically stretch components with multiple inputs/outputs to allow for straight line connections.
