Upgrade TIS 6.5 to 8.0

Hello,

I am looking for information on how to upgrade Talend TIS 6.5 to the latest version 8.0. With the migration guide, I feel like it's complicated.

If there is a problem during the migration, we have to go back. Can we install the new version on another server and keep the old one while waiting to check that everything is ok?

Wouldn't it be simpler to migrate to TOS 8.0 and then migrate to TIS ?

Another question: we have one TIS license with a user to access the TAC. We would like to access the studio in parallel (at the same time) with this license, is this possible?

Hello,

As from Talend 7.0 onward, a digital signature is added to each project item when it is saved in Talend Studio. When importing a project or project items, Talend Studio validates the signatures and rejects items with an invalid signature. This is a security measure to prevent accidental or malicious modification of project items.

Please note this signature is not generated by Open Studio. So Importing a job from Talend 6 or 7 Open Studio will require a Migration Token.
