Talend studio issue with client Git URL

Hi All,

We are migrating from Talend On-Premise to Talend Cloud environment , we are facing issues in connecting to the client git repository.

1] I tried to connect Talend project with Talend studio with my private Git repository and it works fine.

I get the pop up to enter git username and password when I try to connect from Talend studio.

2] When I try to use the client GitLab URL, unfortunately there is no pop up to enter credentials

I checked with my Client Tech Arch, he is using Macbook and he did get the pop up to enter Git credentials with the GitLab URL.

This seems to be working on his system only , and he does not know of any extra configuration which he did to make this work.

When I tried to manually do a Git Pull, I got below error msg.

Error : the authenticity of host can't be established

Git Pull was successful after adding the host in known_hosts file in .ssh directory.

I’m not sure if something similar needs to be done in Talend studio.

Has anyone faced similar issue with Talend cloud 7.3 ? any hints or pointers ?

Hello,

Where did you install Git client? Did you configure the Git in TAC using your Git user ID and password?
