Can't install required and optional components, Open Studio DI 7.4.1 and 8.0.1, error visiting https://talend-update.talend.com

Hi,

for some days I am trying to install Talend Open Studio DI 7.4.1 and 8.0.1 after using version 5.x long time ago.

I alway get errors when trying to install required and optional features right after the first start.

The logfiles in workspace/.metadata/ have many lines like this:

Caused by: org.eclipse.aether.resolution.ArtifactResolutionException: Could not transfer artifact com.google.api:gax-httpjson:jar:0.44.0 from/to talend (https://talend-update.talend.com/nexus/content/repositories/libraries/😞 status code: 502, reason phrase: Bad Gateway (502)

I tried this in our company network and also in m private network without a firewall.

I found some topics in the community forum that suggest to check if https://talend-update.talend.com is accessible. And it is accessible from my side but I get an error 502 - bad gateway.

Without the libraries I can only use a few components and this leaves my installation unusable.

Hello,

We cannot reproduce this issue from our side now.

Make sure that the -Dtalend.disable.internet parameter is not present in the Studio .ini file or is set to false.

thanks for your answer.

I could reprocduce this issue with the browser on different computers connected through different providers.

But yesterday afternoon your maven repository an https://talend-update.talend.com/nexus started working again.

So it's all good now.
