Talend Opens Studio For Data Integration latest version with Java 1.7

Hi all,

Hope all of you are doing great.

As a requirement for my current project, I'm planning to upgrade from TOS DI-5.4.1 to a more stable one. But I have the constraint of using the version compatible with Java 1.7.

If anyone has used the higher versions please let me know.

Hello,

Java 8 is currently the recommended Java version for all Talend products and modules since v6.0. Although you can still use Java 7, Java 8 is the only version of Java that is officially supported from Talend v6.0 onwards, due to the end of Oracle support for Java 7.

Prior to v6.0, the recommended Java version was Java 7.
