Hello I installed Talend a week ago and I keep getting save error messages. Message states: Plug in: Org-eclipse.core.resources

Could not write metadata for C:\\Talend Work\Metadata\plugins\org.eclipse.core.resources\root\indexes\properties.index

( The Process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process)

I am not sure what process would be using the file. Or how to find out what process is using it.

You appear to be using Windows and there is a space in the folder structure ("Talend Work"). It's not great to do that with Java applications on Windows, but that may not be the cause. It might be worth changing this and testing to see whether this helps.

I had to write that manually. It wasnt a copy and paste. In windows it is all one string, there are no spaces.

C:\\Talend Work\Metadata\plugins\org.eclipse.core.resources\root\indexes\properties.index
