[INSTALLATION FAILED] Unable to Launch Talend Data Preparation Free Desktop

Hi team,

I've downloaded the Talend-DataPreparation-Free-Desktop-2.5.1 executable file.

It appears to properly install the software but at the end, when I ask for the installer to launch Talend Data Prep, it simply displays the logo and does nothing.

I've tried to launch it via the path it is installed in (C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Talend\Talend Data Preparation Free Desktop 2.5\Talend-DataPreparation-Free-Desktop-windows-2.5.1\dataprep.exe). It does the same thing.

It should be useful to add that during the approximate 10 seconds the logo is displayed, a new Java(TM) Platform SE Binary appears and use 95% if my CPU.

Could you please provide the Data Prep log file, which is located in C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Talend\dataprep\logs?

Hi,

I've found a solution already. The problem was that Talend started with the wrong browser : TWINUI by default. I changed it to Edge and it worked.
