topic Command line no longer needed ? in Installing and Upgrading

Hi, I was looking at the "ESB: new features" section of the Talend documentation for version 7.2.

https://help.talend.com/reader/YyNgzImGDPdSp8Uo1f10hg/ZYJuAwY5Ymq~I2BPO0LtQQ

Can someone please explain the following ambiguous sentence to me:

"The installation of Talend CommandLine is no longer required as the repository that contains the application as well as Talend Maven plugins can now be hosted on your local server and automatically installed during the build process."

1. What is "the application" ?

2. What is "your local server" ?

3. What does "automatically installed mean" ?

Thanks!

Hi trxservicebus
Sorry to bring you confusion! I have checked with our colleagues and have the answers as below:
1. The application refers to Talend ComandLine
2. The local server refers to an HTTP sever where the user can host the CommandLine archive locally and point to this server when building his ESB artifacts.
3. It means that the user does not need to install the CommandLine when doing Continuous Integration, they can just point to the local server and the CommandLine will be installed when launching the build to execute the ESB project artifacts.

This is also explained in the Software Development Life Cycle guide:
https://help.talend.com/reader/5cs8KSccCJTsJHYlaDdN5w/5MDQtxRAggyhwwtPmsQuOg

Regards
Shong
