OK, I found the prolem. Somehow, that file, ojdbc5.jar had no permissions set for anything (000). New problem, now. I'll start a different thread.

Hello,
I'm new to Talend admin/install. Any help would be appreciated. I went thru the install of EE 5.1.1 on Linux. No problems. Started TAC for the first time and the Driver Check produced the following errors: "cannot instantiate 'oracle.jdbc.driver.oracledriver' ". Do I have to manually copy any jdbc files somewhere?
Thanks,
Andy

Hello,
Just paste the oracle jdbc driver in <tomcat_home>/lib. But first stop tomcat before to do that.
Thanks,
