Downloading post-install features fails

I downloaded the community edition yesterday and have been trying to download the additional features ever since. Sometimes I can select the optional features, sometimes the other one as well, but always only with the finish button enabled, not the next button.

If I see any of the 2 options, there is a message in the top: ""Optional third-party libraries (7) means you cannot configure the download location manually. Click "Finish" to complete the installation process." (where the first part changes with the options available). Clicking Finish in the instance does exactly nothing.

I tried:

- 2 windows machines

- 1 Linux machine

- Versions 7.0.1, 7.1.1, 6.4.1, 6.3.1

- 4 different networks

None of these works.

Is this a network issue on your side?

It seems Studio is trying to download the file https://update.talend.com/Studio/tos/7.1.1/content.xml My browser gets a File Not Found 404 error when I request that file. Is that related?

Add to that the fact that the server http://download-mirror2.talend.com/ is so slow, I could not download Talend Studio, only when I manually switched to http://download-mirror1.talend.com the download did not break off at 16MB.

The servers seem to be configured differently as well, this folder http://download-mirror1.talend.com/tos/release/V7.1.1/ is visible, but the same folder on the mirror2 gives an access denied.

Talend-update.talend.com was actually suffering from an unavailability and we are actively working on fixing it. Could you please try it again to see if it is OK with you now?

Much better!

I now get a lot more things that I could possibly download. And its much faster, too. Next step would to actually be able to install the features. Unfortunatly the Next button is still disabled, and when I click Finish, nothing happens. There is this strange message about not being able to configure the download location. Please see attached image from a 100% fresh install.

What do I do next?
