Hi forum members,
I'm new to Talend.
We have a new project that requires us to design a solution that pulls data from an external customer’s site into our end.
We have two options.
1. Use Talend Integration Cloud
2. Setup a new job server that has access.
Could you please suggest us with positives and negatives with each procedure.

Both approaches will work. If you have more details which systems you want to connect we can give better guidance.
Generally speaking both allow you to access on-premises data. Cloud comes with a managed service and a simplified interface.
Platform products are self hosted and therefore give you greater flexibility.
