Hi,

We in planning a Talend migration (6.5.1 - 7.1.1) and are in the process of standing up a completely parallel DEV environment. Can someone tell me if the following is possible / advisable?

- Do a fresh install of TAC 7.1.1 (without importing 6.5.1 TAC db)

- clone Git project repository to new repo . For example:

                 existing https://git.example.com/MyProject6.git

                 clone to https://git.example.com/MyProject7.git

- Create a "new" project in TAC 7.1.1 and point to https://git.example.com/MyProject7.git

Is this ok to do so we can perform some testing without disturbing existing source project repositories?

Thanks,

Phil
