Weird GUI issues after installing TOS

I recently installed TOS and it seemed to install smoothly, but something isn't right. I'm a new user, I've taken DI Basics and Advanced, but that's it, this is my first time trying to install it locally and do some practice before I take the certification exam. In any case, The GUI just doesn't look right - buttons are cut in half at the top, some icons are so tiny I can't see them, etc. It also seems like I may not have all options - for instance if I expand Job designs in the repository, there's nothing under it, no "standard jobs" choice, etc.

Any idea what's up? Here's a few screen shots.

Talend tech support did a fantastic and very timely job of helping me figure it out. It was due to a high resolution monitor.
