Hello
I am running a 64 bit windows 8 PC and trying to connect to a remote repository that I can connect to by inputing the connection string directly into a browser, however when I try using Studio I am getting an unable to retreive projects: Unable to access URL. I have tried disabling the following windows User Control, Firewall (both windows built in and BitDefender), Anti-virus and anti-pishing. My colleague at another site can connect using the same connection details as I have used but he is on a Windows 7 machine.
Regards

Hello Shong
Ping fails as does RDC. I have re-checked my hosts file and the settings there are correct.
Regards

I have resolved the issue. The steps I took:
removed java 7 and 6 from my pc,
reinstalled java 6 only,
deleted the configuration folder under C:\Talend\Talend-Studio-r90681-V5.1.2,
Reloaded a new configuration folder from the zipped download in to the previous location.
Now I have a working connection.
Regards
