topic Talend Open Studio 7.2.1 starting error - fresh install on RedHat 7.6? in Installing and Upgrading

Hello,

after a fresh installation on RHEL 7.6 (selecting the "Custom" path available with Talend-Installer-20190620_1446-V7.2.1-linux64-installer.run): OpenStudio is not starting.

All other Server services - TAC, JobServer, Monitorserver, command line server - are working fine.

This is the extract of the log file: "java.lang.RuntimeException: You need a config.ini file to start the product"

For completeness: I attach the full error message.

If I attempt a re-install for the only Client component (setting env variable JAVA_HOME to a JDK and PATH according to it) the issue persists.

Thanks in advance for your support

Hello,

Could you please indicate what's JDK version are you using? It seems that the full error message you attached is not available on Community. Let us know if there is any issue when you upload it.

Best regards
