Talend-Tools-Installer not exiting

Hi,

I'm having a slight issue with Talend 7.1.1 installer. It happens with both attended and unattended installs on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04LTS). The installation process appears to be correct, I even get the message that installation process is completed, but then the installer doesn't finish or exit. It just stays "running" idle indefinitely. I've left it running for nearly an hour with no luck, it basically seems to be waiting for something. The only way to exit is by forcing out of the process (Ctrl+C) or by killing the process.

Any idea what may be happening?

Hello,

Are you using Talend Enterprise for 30 days trial solution? Are you running this install file with "Run as Administrator" option?

Did you follow up online installation guide about:TalendHelpCenter:Installing Talend Studio with the Talend Studio Installer?

Hi,

Yes, it is the enterprise version and I followed the installation guide. It doesn't seem to happen on Centos though. The installer process stays on "sleep" status and when I checked the reason it seemed to be waiting for a resource to become available. The installer was the only one running (other than OS) as it was a fresh install on a VM.

Any error popup during installation? Could you please have a look at this online Talend Data Integration Installation Guide for Linux TalendHelpCenter:Compatible Operating Systems to see if you are on a compatible platform?

It appears the process is waiting on a futex call. It is working properly on RHEL though, so nevermind.
