Unable to create a hadoop cluster connection using Talend open studio for Bigdata version 7.1.1

I am trying to create a cluster connection using Talend 7.1.1. The Hadoop version I am trying to connect is upgraded to HDP 3.1. Could you please let me know if the 7.1.1 version of Talend Open Studio for Bigdata is supported on HDP 3.1?

Hello,

If you cannot find from the list the distribution corresponding to yours, select Custom so as to connect to a Hadoop distribution not officially supported in the Studio. For a step-by-step example about how to use this Custom option, see Connecting to a custom Hadoop distribution.

I am using free version of Talend Open studio for Big data and I do not see the custom option in the dropdown on distribution list.

Hello,

Please select "Custom" option from Distribution dropdown list and then select click the"..." button to display the Import custom definition dialog box.

Unfortunately that did no work for me. I tried another option instead but I am not sure if the ambari uri is correct. I selected option "retrieve configuration from ambari" option and it asked me ambari uri (with port). We are accessing ambari with the below url https://knox.ddp-preprod.tp.tpnet.intra/gateway/default/ambari what would be the uri along with the port number in this case? Thanks, Anil
