I have unzipped TOS-All-r6584-V2.2.1.zip under my C:\, I have the last version of java (jre 1.6), but when I try to run the exe, I have in the following log file :

Hello,
You have 2 Java installed : in the log we can see that java.version=1.4.2_03
This is probably due to an Oracle client installation.

Thank you for your answer. As I don't have any version under the 1.5.0 in my c:\program files\java, I haven't check carrefully the log file ...
Could you help me again : where does talend find this version (that's right I have Oracle application) ? I mean, what I have to modify so that talend will find the good java version ?

It's ok, I have modified my environment variable PATH so that the first path for Java is the one with program files\java and now it works.

TOS doesn't seem to work either with multiple JVMs installed or with 1.4.
Instead of altering your environment you can add this parameters to the command line
-vm <path to my jvm>\bin\javaw.exe

-vm <path to my jvm>\bin\javaw.exe

For example:
open a DOS shell, form START - run - cmd
goto to TOS or Jasper directory
than type
JasperETL-win32-x86 -vm "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe"

I have tried installing Talend open profiler many number of times. Still i am not able to install please help me. I have installed jdk1.5.0_07 version and i have latest jre1.5.0_22 and jre6. Please help me, this is very important for my project.

java.version=1.4.2_03

Talend requires Sun jdk 1.5 or higher, if you have install jdk1.5 as you said, try to put the path of JDK in the first place of path variable.

You said you have installed jdk1.5.0_07 version and i have latest jre1.5.0_22 and jre6. Just need to add the jdk installation folder to path variable. See

Sorry, if you are using TOS on Windows, you should use TalendOpenStudio-win-x86.exe to launch product. Which application do you use to launch product?
