Getting the following error after installing TIS 5.2.2

I am running on CentOS 5.6 and the installer would not execute, which is why I decided to install each piece individually. The weird thing is that I was running TOS 5.2 with no problems, but now that I have to "upgrade" to TIS the app will not start up.

Look at that!
Renamed directory from "Talend-Studio-r99271-V5.2.2/" to "studio/" and it started no problem.
Maybe something is "Hard coded" somewhere? Hmmm....

That is why I always suggest user to install product in a short path without any special characters, such as blank space.

I was hoping this was my problem as well. I do not have spaces in the path and I simplified the name. C:\Talend\TalendStudio6.2\studio. I still get an error every time I start TIS.

I have found other suggestions related to plugin settings and modifying the osgi.bundles config.
I checked the preferences and don't see anything related to eclipse set-up so I am at a loss of how to resolve this issue. 1486678576… .log

Others in my company have the same error when first starting Talend OS.
Click on the shortcut a second time and TOS launches OK.

What's your OS version? On which build version you got this installation issue at startup? Are you using talend installer?

Ok, looks like I found a resolution of sorts. When I adjust the shortcut properties to run as admin, I get the admin sign-in prompt, then Talend starts with-out error.

Just re-started and got the same error message, guess I did not find the solution after all.
