Hi,

I am new to BIg data and learning. For the Big data project in school I chose to use talend.

I installed talend open studio for Big data just as in the instructions and now I am stuck at setting Hadoop cluster manually.

Does the talend install install the HDFS system as well. I am using windows10.

Any help is appreciated.

You need to setup hadoop/hdfs system separately.

Then only you can access it through talend or any other tool.

OK thats what it is then. Thinking y this is not mentioned in the prerequisites.

I do have a HDFS set up on a VirtualBox in CenTos7 can I use this ?

Where is your TALEND Installed, in VIRTUAL BOX or WINDOWS 10?

You need to create CLUSTER in Virtual BOX with CLOUDERA Manager(If you have Downloaded CLOUDERA).
