I want to migrate Talend SVN projects to BitBucket. Any solution and recommendation about how to implement that?

Hi Yan,

to migrate your Talend Projects from SVN to GIT

export your jobs,services with dependencies to a zip file.
Reconfigure your TAC to access Bitbucket
Recreate your projects pointing to your new Git repository
Update Tac User with Git account credentials
Edit your project authorisation
Connect your studio to the new empty git project
Import your previously exported jobs, services into the new git project

I followed your instruction. It works for me.

One more question, this migration instructed by you only migrates the latest version. Is there any way to migrate all SVN job version to bitbucket server?

Hi Yan,

i believe there might be proper ways to migrate from svn to git with a tool.

Though I did not tested it personally.

I would keep a copy of the svn repo, migrate as you did with latest version, and only do another manual migration with a different version of your job if absolutely needed.
