How to install mySQL connector jar files in Talend for Big Data 6.0

I have installed Talend for Big Data version 6.0 and trying to use it with MySQL. While creating the job, it asks to install Jar files.

While installing driectly from Talend, I am getting following error:

"Caused by: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: https://talend-update.talend.com/nexus/content/repositories/libraries/org/talend/libraries/mysql-connector-java-5.1.30-bin/6.0.0/mysql-connector-java-5.1.30-bin-6.0.0.jar"

I tried alternative method of downloading the jar files and importing them manually by going to Windows -> Sjow views-> modules and import external jars.

It still is not working.

Would really appreciate your help on this.

Hi
Make sure the status is 'Installed' in the module views if the jar is installed successfully.
BTW, you are using an older version of studio, I would suggest to download and use the latest version.

Hi Shong,

Thanks for your response. When I check this in Module window, it shows as "Not Installed" with a Yellow triangle and exclamation mark". I have imported the jar file. Do I have to take any further steps to install it?

any answer on this ? I mean Talend is virtualy unusable in this status

I get the same problem with Talend 7
